Oppose the DEA's Proposal on Reduced Opioid Production

People including myself can't live like this, were taking our lives, because you have NO idea how hard it is to try to live the pain that never ends.

I have pain in all my joints. I was on hydrocodone 325-5 mgs every 6hrs as needed. It helped me to be able to get up and do some work around the house and help take care of my husband. I took one before bed so I could rest without being in so much pain. Today after many years of taking this medicine my Doctor decided to take me off completely. I am almost 70 years old and worked since I was 15 years old and this is what is done to us. I believe no matter what age you are and suffering from pain and is used as prescribed

I have had CRPS for 22 years, and have had to fight to get proper treatment, healthcare, medications just to be able to function. And now, when this disease has taken my ability to provide for my children, one of which who is special needs herself, they want to take away my ability to try to physically care for them! This needs to stop immediately!!

My son is in chronic pain every minute of the day. Don't take away the only thing that can help him to get through his daily life. He needs his med to live . He suffers from a horrible disease. People with CRPS can not lose the only thing that can help with their pain.

My son-in-law has CRPS/RSD. He relies on opioids to function. The problem is not prescriptions for those like Mike. The epidemic is in street drugs! Reducing the amounts available will not stop illegal use. They will still find a way, while those who really need it to survive are left hurting. I'm totally opposed to any restrictions on prescribed meds.

I have CRPS/RSD I am in constant pain, I have a SCS implant that gives a little relief in my lower back. I still have severe pain and without Opioid med's I can't function.

Stop the attacks and witch hunt for opioids, there are a lot of people who are disabled like me that need pain medication opioids for the rest of our lives. Without these opioid medications everyday life would be unbearable especially if I am bedridden with beyond level 10 pain.

All the attacks from the DEA, Trump, Sessions and other Lemmings in the US are ignorant to the fact that there are truly people who need opioids to control their pain and who are NOT drug addicts taking it just to get high, the statistics for people who die from alcohol and cigarettes everyday are almost double and triple that of opioids and I'm sure it's even higher for all the babies being aborted every day. My point being what is our governments agenda for attacking opioids at this level over all the other problems around the US, it makes no sense, there is something bigger going on here because you and I know that the people in the government who run this country could care less about us what so ever.

Addiction is a predisposition. Don't need to cripple the many chronic pain pts. Addicts will find something if necessary risking their lives they can't help Themselves. Chronic pain and palliative care is an entire different situation

I live with CRPS of you call having this disease living. But the only thing that allows me to relieve the horrific pain I suffer just enough to perform activities of daily living. Without my pain medication I would be in ever present torment with no hope of some relief. Please don't take away medicines REAL chronic pain patients like myself who need them to have some semblance of a life.

Please stop punishing those of us who REALLY NEED these drugs!

I hope I haven't signed too late. This is unfair to take away our medication. I wonder if it was something that showed up on an x-ray or test if they would do this to them.

Addicts will ALWAYS find a way to get their fix. Cutting the supplies to ppl that depend on them is abuse in and of itself. You are making us victims and casualties in your WAR . This is survival! Drug dependent is NOT drug addicted. I can guarantee you most of us would love not having to take medicine that makes us ill.

For many people suffering with RSD, opioids are many times the only way we have any form of some kind of semi meaningful life. It's bad enough people with RSD have life altering lives because of the many limits this no cure disease curses us with through no fault of our own but if we aren't allowed opioid pain medication most of us will just sit and ROT in a chair wishing for death to take us so please don't make a cruel excruciating painful disease worse by denying sufferers SOME moments of semi pain relief. We suffer enough and living with RSD for over 30 years before RSD even had a name, I've lost enough of my adult life with minimal days of pain relief thanks to opioids. I am not addicted by the grace of God but I need them to function to live and not just exist.

Please HELP people with RSD/CRPS and other chronic pain patients!

Why should people that are in Pain Suffer for people that can't follow directions. And put people at risk of hurting themselves even worse
