Operation Sunrise: Show your support to Camelot for Golden Sun 4

I've been waiting so long for a new Golden Sun. By far my favorite games of all time!

I love the series. On dark dawn it's hands down best ds game I ever played. Also to this day the only game I liked enough to play more than 10 times and 100% clear it.

Golden Sun, like a few of my other all-time favorite games, has been an outstanding influence on who I am and will become. I remember one day when I was searching through my brother's room, my fingers itching to play the GBA cartridges I found lying around. Being nearly a decade younger than him, I feel outnumbered, and yet proud, to be one of those female gamers who dwell in the past with with a Gamecube, a makeshift GBA - I use my DS Lite - and an appreciation for pixel-y RPG's and catchy music. Although my beginning with Golden Sun consisted of pointless playthroughs on my brother's nearly-completed file (my youthful intention was to explore every town on the World Map rather than to battle), I later grew interested to start my own file and play through the game. Of course, given my slow thought-process and impatience, I had to drop the serious gameplay because it was a bit difficult for me at nine years old; I continued to travel on The Lost Age's flying ship instead, imagining that I was a warrior with the rest of the crew. The point is: an incredible RPG like this deserves more attention. It should live on. I'll admit, when I was finally ready to challenge myself through a whole game, it was upon the purchase of Dark Dawn. My brother was excited enough to play through a large chunk of it, but eventually, I got to enjoy the game too! Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, despite some minor details that don't quite add up to the spectacular ratings of the original two, was well-suited for me, at least. When I'm caught in a puzzle, solutions don't always "click" right away, so this game proved to be easy. Perhaps it was a bit too easy. Perhaps it wasn't AS incredible as the first two games that have brought me so much joy as I battled my way through my own fantasy adventure. But the third game still complements the first two, and it still carries a huge sum of potential. I may be just another face, and Golden Sun may be just another game, but I can declare that it

They have to make another one since they left off with a cliffhanger. I also like the creative and interactive puzzles, better than most rpgs.

I absolutely want a new Golden Sun, Dark Dawn only explored the eastern part of Weyard 20 years after the Towers were lit, we need the next adventure to open up all of it, sorta the way the 2nd game did, and of course the story never concluded either what with Alex still in the scheme. Note: I would like to see all the characters come together.

I may have signed this petition once already, it would've been years ago by now, and so this might be just a reinstatement of my want for Golden Sun 4 The main thing I want to discuss is why make a fourth Golden Sun seven years after Dark Dawn? Consistency (jokes aside)? Conclusion? Pleasing a community? All reasons are valid. Golden Sun (hence now refered with the colloquial abbreviation GS, TLA, and/or DD) is a game that is an authentic, organic, honest game. The GBA games were the crucible of which JRPGs would hail ''Ave'' to, because for a slightly obscure game it is the Julius Caesar of the genre. The combat was flashy and incredably balanced. The world was bright colorful, the various towns felt real and had unique cultures that are fun analyze and explore (maybe one of the reasons I'm an Anthropologist). The dungeons were fun and the puzzles had depth. The story, despite being cliche, had depth. It is all in all extraordinary. While the negative commentators say that GS and TLA were ''extra ordinary'', the game took the normal and did it right. It didn't beat the dead horse, but crafted Ferrari. Many were satisfied with this pinnacle series. Moving eight years later to the release of DD, the times were different, the old fanbase was largely gone. I remeber fondly getting DD on release before going to the hospital for surgery. Overall, DD was a solid game. While some balance issues existed, and the direction the game turned left many questions and was difficult for new people to enter the series the game had many redeeming values that makes the game a good addition to the series. DD had its dungeons develop an aesthetic feel that TLA didn't quite achieve. I think this mostly comes from the puzzle objects (if that is the acceptable phrase) were unique. The previous games used the same sprites throughout. This inclusion adds that realism and challenge through a lack or consistency that would actually exist in a real world. 6 years after its release, I've restarted Golden Sun Dark Dawn, and it still looks impressive. Imagine what wonders you might achieve in Nintendo 3DS! You cannot just leave that marvellous story in a cliffhanger forever!

Please, we need a sequel for 3DS of this awesome RPG, my favourite in Nintendo family. If Camelo releases it, I'll sure buy this game for my New 3DS XL because I have all games since GB Advance .

This story has not been resolved, and the Golden Sun universe would be wonderful on a new platform.

I would most definitely buy this game if it was released. IT HAS TO HAPPEN, CAMELOT.

Golden Sun and The Lost Age were among the best RPGs released on the GBA, and that's saying something considering the GBA had some great entries into the genre. And while Dark Dawn wasn't the greatest continuation, I want a Golden Sun 4 to bring the series back to what I loved about the first two games, even as we now follow Matthew.
