We the undersigned ask that Sony releases the original Psygnosis source code of WipEout 2097/XL [Direct Play] developed for the Windows PC operation system into the Public Domain. There is a large number of passionate gamers who have been trying to get this bugged game fixed and working for multi-player, correct clock speed handling, full Vista / XP compatibility and music working for a long time. Considering that Sony is now focusing purely on the PS3 and there will be no more development done on the Windows platform we would like the source code to become public so that the game can become great again.
