Ek stem dat die kerk so gou moontlik oopmaak met n 50 % van sy kapasiteit. Solank veiligheid en afstand deurgaans gehandhaaf word kan ek nie sien hoem die kerk nog net vir 100 mense oop is nie.

I stand for the opening of churches to a minimum capacity of 50%.
According to the South African Constitution, chapter 2 of the Bill of Rights:
Section 9
(1) Everyone is equal before the law and has the right to equal protection and benefit of the law.
(2) Equality includes the full and equal enjoyment of all rights and freedoms. To promote the achievement of equality, legislative and other measures designed to protect or advance persons, or categories of persons, disadvantaged by unfair discrimination may be taken.
(3) The state may not unfairly discriminate directly or indirectly against anyone on one or more grounds, including race, gender, marital status, ethnic or social origin, religion, conscience, belief, culture, language etc.
(4) No person may unfairly discriminate directly or indirectly against anyone on one or more grounds in terms of subsection (3). National legislation must be enacted to prevent or prohibit unfair discrimination.
(5) Discrimination on one or more of the grounds listed in subsection (3) is unfair unless it is established that the discrimination is fair.
According to the constitution all of us are equal and is supposed to fairly benefit from the law. If South Africans can enter a tavern to full capacity then it is unfair towards me and my fellow Christians. My church has a capacity of 1500 people, but only a 100 people are allowed to enter. Is that fair? Logically speaking 100/1500 is nowhere close to 50%. What was the use of the president to announce that we can gather 50% capacity inside if he knew that he was gonna restrict it to a hundred? 100/1500 is a 50%? If some places can have a 100 people, what if it's full capacity for them? Is it fair towards me and my fellow congregation? 100/1500 for us is not even 10%, it is literally less than 6,7%.
Please consider treating all South Africans equal. Please don't violate the constitutional rights of me and my fellow Christians. As much as South Africa belongs to the
