We would like to see Lake Manassas open to the public for limited recreational use.

This lake is paid for from the public. Gated communities surround thus lake. The access should be for everyone and also include a boat ramp on the property near the dam.

Open the lake up!

Have missed fishing this lake for awhile now.. No reason to spend money on patrolling it instead open it up and make $$$$$$. Our kids are missing out on a Great Lake to fish.. Loved the weekly fishing tournaments back in the day and I'm sure there are state record fish in this lake no question about it. Open the Lake back up.

Please open this back up for us that use are natural resources to provide for are family's.

The people of manassas city Prince William county and surrounding areas need this lake open it could be a huge boost to the area

This could be a good money maker for both the city of Manassas and Princewlliam county. Stop letting the golf course run the city and decide policy and keep lining your pockets with money. Time to start voting these people out if they insist on not listening to the tax payers.

The only reason it's closed is because of RTJ and the Lake Manassas subdivision. You can fool some people but not all, we know who's greasing your crooked ass pockets.

There is NO real reason to keep this gem closed to the public.

I think it's silly to restrict this beautiful resource from local residents. If all other reservoirs throughout the state are open to the public, what makes this reservoir any different? Simply fearing the muscles and terrorist threats are completely ridiculous and holds no water (pun intended).

Non-motorized and electric only boats should be allowed to enjoy this body of water for recreational fishing.

Re-Open Lake Manassas to non-motorized boats and stop blocking reasonable plans to open the lake. As a city tax payer I find it troubling that the mayor and some of the Manassas City Council continue to spend a significant amount of money to police the lake enforcing it's closure verses levering the money making potential of this asset. Please use my money wisely in the future.

It's time to allow tax paying citizens to utilize this tax payer funded property; let me go kayak fishing there now.

Enough is enough. It's time to open up this beautiful lake for outdoor enthusiasts to respectfully enjoy!
