We would like to see Lake Manassas open to the public for limited recreational use.

Used to fish here as a kid. Such a shame that public access to now denied. Remind me why we keep paying taxes and are supporting politicians that take away access to our property.

So sad that this lake has been off limits for to long, fished there years ago and it is one of the best fishing ever! would love to see It opened again!

Fantastic lake for fishing! Please reopen the lake for public access. There are very few options in PWC for public access fishing. It should be everyone's to enjoy, not just those fortunate enough to own property/home around it.

I'd like to see it re-opened for fishing. There are not enough good fishing spots in NoVa....

This busy area doesn't have enough recreational areas much less a beautiful lake like Lake Manassas.

Open this lake now. Its an unfair travisty to everyone in this area, and for that matter the entire Commonwealth. Open this lake now. Fisherman have as many rights as golfers. That is the real issue. This problem needs to be addressed sooner then later.

Open the lake. This would be a great asset to PWC. I bet a lot of Lake Fairfax and Burke Lake traffic would use it as they likely live closer.

If the real reason is because of Zebra mussels, then the city should take some of the 80,000 dollars and purchase jonboats, trolling motors and batteries.
Only allow city owned boats to access the lake. Charge a fee for usage of the boat and a lake permit.
Guaranteed to make over 80,000 dollars per year !!!! FACT.

Lake manassas needs to be reopened to the public for fishing, kayaking etc. It's ridiculous that the lake was closed to the public.

Western PWC is in dire need of outdoor recreation space and this natural resource waterway should not be restricted to private ownership access only.

Love it. I would rather go to Lake Manassas than drive to Burke Lake in Fairfax County.

The lake is in my neighborhood. It sure looks pretty, but all we can do is look at it. I would love to canoe and kayak in it, what harm could it do?
