Dear Department of Housing and Residential life:

We the undersigned students at Florida Atlantic University who are on the Boca campus regularly are writing this petition for the Innovation Village Apartments Courtyard to be open for events such as a student government programs, safe tailgating for home football games, and any other appropriate activities that are within school regulations. As it stands right now the courtyard is hardly used; and FAU spent millions of dollars building IVA. If the space was opened up to other events it would maximize the value of what we spent building the courtyard at the inception of it. Please take this under advisement and work with Boca Campus Governor Chris Ferreira, the Boca Raton Student Government, and President Kelly to help make this idea into a tangible one to help better the lives of students on campus.
