We, the off road vehicle community, wish to have a quality off road location to enjoy a sport we all hold near and dear. Whether it be trail riding or all out rock crawling we believe that the Trails of Tolar, in Tolar, Texas, will be a significant draw, creating additional interest in the sport and bringing consistent revenues to the Trails and local communities.

Regardless of brand, whether it is Jeep, Toyota, Nissan, Land Rover, Ford, Dodge or Chevrolet, if you enjoy off roading, trail riding and/or rock crawling please sign the petition to reopen the Trails of Tolar to the public.

This is located 17 miles SW of Granbury, about a 20 minute drive and about 45 miles SW of Fort Worth. Here is a Google Map link to the location: https://goo.gl/maps/SnsdJhf9uz82

We are currently in discussion with the owners but want to show as much support as possible. We will then begin to work on corporate and possibly state support as well. We will be looking to several area off road clubs for help and participation.

The momentum is incredible. This support proves just how badly we need these trails open again.

As a veteran of the Navy Seabees 8 years of service with PTSD and other issues I highly recommend a set of trails that I and others like me can find some peace trail riding.

As someone who lives and works in the area, I would love to be able to give my money to a local business for a safe place to drive 4x4s offroad on challenging trails.

I wheeled at the park when it was open and had friends come in from other parts of Texas for it. While I would really enjoy seeing it open again it would have to be competitive with Bridgeport to draw crowds from DFW in my past experiences.

It would be amazing to have another place to go play close to Dallas. I think it would be a great boost to the local community as I normally buy food gas and parts local to where I can go wheeling.

I'm still considered a mall crawler but hope to try some trails in the very near future! Having good places that people have talked about would be beneficial for everyone from newbies to seasoned crawlers.

Please reopen the trails. My wife and I have spent much time here and miss it greatly. It was a place I took my late father regularly for recreation and he loved it as well.
