I also believe that there is a safe and equitable way to open the pool, as suggested by designating the hours / days the pool can be used by any one family/address. As we see Nassau County and Suffolk County towns start to plan to open public pools in July, it is time for our community to reconsider the same.

I couldn't agree more Rich! The pool as well as our other amenities should be opened!

In Suffolk County, as of June 5, 2020, privately owned outdoor public swimming pools at hotels and HOA’s and similar facilities are allowed to operate and have public swimming at this time. All public swimming pools must practice all of the required social distancing and mask use and follow all CDC and NYS DOH guidelines for operating under COVID-19. As a business owner having close to 500 employees we are giving employees the opportunity to work in the office if they so choose under social distancing measures. For those still uncomfortable in that environment for whatever their reason, I am encouraging them to still work from home. The pool should be open, under social distancing measures. We should encourage any person(s) in our community who is uncomfortable with this should then stay away from the pool and pool house. I cannot have the HOA making that decision for me if NYS state is allowing the pools to open. The HOA should leave to each families discretion and not make that decision for us.

I believe it can b safely done with adequate restrictions

If we are paying for it , then open the pool up. It’s an open air area . With extra safety measures we should be ok to enjoy.

The board and management company should open our pool as of July 4th weekend or sooner.

Please reconsider opening the pool this summer!
