Closing the gate just causes a bigger backup and makes people late to class... So much better the other way.

I live 5 minutes away, it use to take me 5 minutes, now it takes me 7-10 minutes. And the line to get into the lot is awful. We need all our gates open. And just like our swimming pool, a bigger parking lot...

It isn't working. The neighbors chose to move by the school, so they can deal with a little more traffic.

Was this "fix" implemented before any sort of school traffic expert was even consulted. I can't imagine these impacts will be considered satisfactory long term by the city or surrounding community. Maybe re-evaluate what it is you are trying to accomplish with experts. For now, open all gates.
