I bought 3 for my family 1 for my co-founder. This is a travesty if you don't release it open source. You interviewed me in a customer interview and used my ides in the app. Don't be a bad person inshallah.

I was One of those who bought the pendant in the weeks of the $299 sale just before the announcement of the acquisition by Meta. In the few weeks I have gotten to use the device, it has been a game changer and I am deeply saddened that it all might go away or the privacy terms be changed under Meta.

it's just the right thing to do given this version of the pendant will be completely gone probably anwyays. Additionally all surplus inventory should be at least available for purchase as well or sold to omi

Disappointing outcome for the pendent.
Hopefully Meta’s open source team realise there is no reason not to open source it. Or rather that it could be good for the ecosystem and will go a long way to improving relations with affected ex-users.
