This petition is to survey how many science, engineering, and technology related people would be interested in collaborating in a global open science consortium?

The basic idea is a way to allow science people to work together for the improvement of mankind through open collaboration. All would be members / shareholders of the consortium and able to work together, submit papers on, and share in dividends from any joint patents / intellectual property that is created.

Governments and corporations could fund challenges and anyone - including the public - is allowed to work on those challenges.
