“My name is Anastasia and I reach out to you as patron of KW Sauna and frequenter of saunas in general. Saunas have been completely closed for almost an entire year. This is probably because this industry is misunderstood and mischaracterized. They are not part of the reopening plan at all because most people don’t know what they are or what they do.
Saunas are amazing for both physical and mental health. These are large facilities that offer hot/cold therapy. They are hands-off. They can be operated safely and can follow health guidelines no worse than a restaurant or a hotel.
Other provinces are most aware of this business sector and have kept saunas open without a problem. I have full confidence that saunas in Ontario can put public health first without closing their doors completely.
Please include saunas in stage 2 or 3 of the province’s reopening. Don’t let this industry die simply because it’s been overlooked.

I’m suffering from
Fibromyalgia and hot cold therapy is one of my only reliefs. I am hoping with proper time slots and help you would allow my favourite Sauna house to open. It is always been very clean and alway had time slots so that there wasnt may people. I’m certain they can make shorter time slots and make small changes to increase safety but the are. A health service and need to be open for people.

Really saddens me that this establishment has been forced to close. It has impacted the quality of life negatively for my mom this winter who relied on the therapeutic benefits from this establishment in managing her chronic pain. I hope that the powers to be realize how important it is for people towards their quality of life for this establishment to remain open. There is a way to allow this establishment to remain open while following proper safety protocols, it is doable & possible.
