I spent the morning reading through your memories of the halls and staircases inside and it reminds me why this building deserves more than a wrecking ball. While the owners remain silent for now your stories keep the history of this place alive.

Seeing this kind of momentum for the old hospital reminds me of how many people still treasure the history tucked behind those walls. My heart is full knowing I am not the only one who wants to walk those halls one more time before they disappear.

We will never see structure and architecture of this magnitude ever being built again. This needs saved. Preserve its history, what it was built and intended for. Yes, go in remove the asbestos, gut most. But, save the building. Set it up for people to tour. ( Like Mansfield). The fee to tour can go directly for it's preservation. Not in greedy pockets.
This was a beautiful building when I worked there and it would be so nice to see inside it again
this building is architectually amazing. as an urbex photographer, i know everytime i enter a building there are risks and i accept that. i want inside this amazing building once and will sign whatever papers it takes
I live right up the road from Molly Stark and I have enjoyed many times of being there. It would be a shame to let it get torn down and there is no good reason to even do it! I would love a chance to walk though it and would love to see it continue to stand for years to come!
my camera and i have explored the outside and peeked through the windows, but would love nothing more than to get inside for a tour where i can capture the beauty for everyone. thats why we started the Facebook page and petition.
Molly Stark is a historical landmark that has been around for centuries. Instead of tearing it down they should use the 2.3 million to fix it up at least.

My husband took me to walk the grounds of Molly Stark on our first date. I was taking a photography class and had an assignment due. He knew just the place to take me as he was responsible for caring for the lawn at the time. We have continued to revisit Molly Stark over the years and have been thankful to experience the area before gates and fences were put up around the property. Please keep Molly Stark alive!
