Due to the recent covid-19 pandemic, I understand those who are still scared of the spread of this virus. That being said, if you're scared, stay home.
If you are wanting to open our neighborhood pool, please follow through with me and sign this petition.
Risks have been brought right in front of our faces, yes. As well as a survey, which failed to allow the pool to open.
I cannot justify that you MAY contract this virus, if you don't follow CDC guidelines. But, that should be our right and choice to follow.
The CDC has proven that this virus does not spread in the outdoors, especially with UV rays from the sun.
There is still so much unknown of covid-19, but our families deserve a bit of normalcy of our choice, to have use of a pool we pay for in HOA dues annually.
Please be advised, this is not a legal document, just a residential inquiry petition, to open our pool.
We have no limitations in MO, or Jefferson county, from covid, and should be able to follow as such.
As I've said above....if you don't feel safe, stay home.
Otherwise, whomever would like to enjoy our small neighborhood pool with a 200(something) normal limitation capacity, at maybe the 25% to make everyone feel safe, and too keep our children sane during this horribly emotionally draining pandemic, please join me.
