Investigate this further to help understand what has been unleashed. Gain of function should have boundaries and consider moral and civil implications.

An investigation that fails to thoroughly investigate the laboratory origin hypothesis - whatever its truth - will serve only to permanently undermine its own integrity and that of all those who sign their names to it.

This Virus needs to be identified for what it's worth to the powers at be. We don't mind social engineering, but we need a system that cares for the sick and dying not fast forward or accelerate early deaths. Thank you Luke

This should never happen on this planet. Peter Daszak of Ecohealth explained how easy it was to alter coronaviruses during a podcast interview filmed Dec. 9, 2019. “You can manipulate them in the lab pretty easily,” Daszak said. “Spike protein drives a lot of what happens with the coronavirus. Zoonotic risk. So you can get the sequence, you can build the protein — and we work with Ralph Baric at [the University of North Carolina] to do this — and insert the backbone of another virus and do some work in the lab.”

There is a long list of circumstantial evidence for a laboratory accident in Wuhan being the source of the pandemic. This lab performed gain-of-function research with Corona-viruses to make them more harmful. Laboratory accidents in this field of research are not uncommon. Why is there no public debate about it? This kind of research should be banned world-wide because it imposes too much risk to mankind.

As a career CBRN professional, I support the US rejection of either investigative team, until persons potentially implicated in the events being reviewed are removed from this inquiry.
