Volunteer/actor in 20 RCT productions, 16 under Greg Miller. This letter puts to words an airing of grievances that has been bubbling up in the theatre community for a long time. I support this call to action.

Volunteer/Actor/Play Selection Committee I support the statements in this letter, and even more so I support the people who feel the passion, commitment, and resolve to bring about positive change to this wonderful community. As a relatively new volunteer, my main concern is for the future of RCT, something I very much want to be a part of. With the current environment I fear that is at risk.

Volunteer (actor, running crew, sound/light board, mixer, follow spots) since 1999. I 100% support the contents of this letter and must urge the board to take this seriously. It is with so much love that this is written.

Volunteer for the last 14 years. There used to be joy in volunteering. Not so much anymore. I do it now to support Greg and Janet and the other volunteers. I fully agree with the content of this letter.

As a past volunteer, I must say the turn of events in recent years are alarming and should be reviewed with strong consideration for action in removing Mr. Stavrou from his current position. People invested within the larger theatre community rely on the leadership and artistic excellence that the Rochester Civic Theatre provides. RCT is a staple for many who would otherwise not have an opportunity to explore the human condition through art. It is a safe place for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to grow and express themselves. Regardless of whether the volunteers and students remain a constant within the theatre community, the life skills often developed are fundamental and broad reaching. Theatre reminds, and often teaches, people to love, respect, and collaborate with those around them. Now, more than ever, these values are essential to social progress and change. It has been made clear through the letter of petition that Mr. Stavrou does not embody these values in his everyday actions and leadership at RCT. I respectfully ask on behalf of all volunteers and staff members, who feel as though RCT is no longer following through on its mission, to vote for and replace the leadership hindering these goals. Thank you.

Volunteer. I agree with the content of the petition. It has made me realize that I have been too accepting of the lack of transparency. For too long I believed this is what one had to put up with with small city organizations. Rochester is no longer small, nor is such mismanagement acceptable.

Volunteer. I agree wholeheartedly with the contents of this letter. Being involved in shows at the Civic used to feel magical. The atmosphere has changed so much, it is palpable. I hope this eye opening letter will bring back what theater is supposed to be about.
