Dear Mr. Nerland,

I am standing up to be counted. Our collective bagaining agreements here in Camas must be honored, and the Camas School District must comply with all labor laws.

Our colleagues should not face financial insecurity when they struggle with life-threatening and emergency health issues, as a result of decisions that were unilaterally forced upon them. All Camas School District employees should be allowed the opportunity to fully participate in decisions about health care plans; no employee should be disenfranchised. We will not rest until our voices are heard.

You are a man of your word, and I believe that you will fight to make sure that the commitments you have made to the employees of the Camas School District will be fulfilled. As a leader, I expect nothing less of you. Let us stand together to fight for what is right.
