Very disappointing decisions.

This growing community has such potential, not only to gather and focus the views of arts workers all over Scotland on this subject but also to create a more joined up arts community for the future. For too long the voice of the arts in Scotland has been courted from a select few successful and influential artists. Scotland’s grass roots artists, musicians, film makers, theatre practitioners, weavers, sculptors and actors can have a voice and be part of the solution.

I'll sign it with pleasure but am doubtful anything will come of it, remember the big signing of a letter years ago to apply pressurise to get Creative Scotland's house in order that was in the Scottish press, what did that achieve. Look where we are now in another another fine mess! Fiona Hyslop is not part of the solution, she's part of the problem as you can see from the double page spread in the Herald today, hardly an exclusive. I myself highlighted and instigated this abomination of a decision in July 2017 to my MP, MSP, Councillors, BECTU, Equity on Radio Scotlands John Beattie show 14 July 17 and nobody took any notice. £1,000,000 given to grease wheels whilst our own indigenous artists and arts organisations are treated like **** by pen pushing, talentless individuals, in an organisation not fit for purpose. Constantly fighting for survival so let's give a million to Netflix!
