Please open the Catholic schools - the kids need to be around their peers and teachers!

You really need to open the schools. The kids will be alright. Have the older teachers who have underlying conditions make the choice whether to come back or not

With all the safeguards St. Michaels has Undertaken to assure the safest environment for the students and staff It is the Most covid and germ free area there is. Our children need normalcy and a good education . None of us know how long california will prevent public schools to open. It could be years. The damage to those children is insurmountable . As a retired teacher, children need to be in school!! Proper measures can be taken to promote safety for everyone.

Please allow St. Michael’s to reopen. There have been so many safety precautions put into place, that I feel it is a very safe environment for students and teachers. They have gone beyond CDC requirements with their plans to safely reopen in the fall.

Our kids need the social interaction and in-live classroom teaching. Distance learning is compromised at best!!!

Our faith is in God and not government. Please open the schools , distance learning is not education. Children need their teachers to teach them face to face. Enough damage is done already

The numbers do not support keeping kids out of school. There are 0 deaths of children in San Diego County. Positive tests do not mean overcrowded hospitals or many deaths right now in San Diego County. Children need to be in schools. As a Catholic mom of 7, having kids schooling at home is impossible. Let’s use reason and stats ans not make decisions based on fear and the “what if”

Parents I have spoken indicated they will move their children to another school because they cannot teach their own children at home. Or they will simply not enroll them in school this year.
