The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board should be proud to have such a brave, principled teacher as Ms Shoufani in their employ. As a retired teacher I support her stand 100%.

Ms Shoufani is to be commended and her rights vindicated in this case. This sort of shabby behaviour on the part of a school's administration hearkens back to the McCarthy period in US and, sadly, Canadian history. She must be reinstated with compensation forthwith.

It is clearley a case of brutality to accuse resistenceorganisations of "terrorism". The states which are doing that do have two agendas

I'm outraged at the unreflective, unconsidered action of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board in suspending Nadia Shoufani. Cursory research about this issue and the position Ms. Shoufani took reveals not only her innocence but her strong and admirable moral instincts. How disgraceful that this school board, charged with the betterment of children's education, should have acted so thoughtlessly. On that ground alone I would remove any child of mine attending a school under the aegis of that cowardly and unthoughtful
school board. Hardly representative of traditional Catholic values!
