I am terrified for our earth right now. Trump and his people only care about the gas and oil industries and money. Trump has many conflicts of interest right now.

Climate change is the ultimate public health threat - and poses the greatest opportunity for sustainable development. Countries that move faster toward clean energy will create more jobs, develop their economies, and reduce catastrophic health and environmental risks, including from terrorism and population migration driven by resource depletion. Architects are at the crux of connecting business, technology and decision making - we play a significant role in developing working solutions. I re-commit myself to this work with hope for the future of humanity.

Climate change mitigation and adaptation is the most critical problem facing the design industry today. We simply cannot deny its existence or urgency. Either of these moves would be professionally irresponsible as we now know our impact as well as our potential for positive change and we must act to integrate resilience into every design decision. Protecting health, safety and welfare is not optional, nor should it be political.

Absolutely, very important to keep our work focused on our values.

Thank you for speaking up against this disastrous president-elect and his destructive policies.

Please, let's not go backwards when it comes to progress on sustainability and energy consumption as it is effected by the built environment. Thank you.
