Very well said. I am not a graduate of HC, but have been very happily employed by the college for many years. I have always felt free to express and live my own convictions at this wonderful school, and believe much of its strength lies in its commitment to exactly this sort of intellectual freedom.

I did not vote for or support Trump. But I still esteem Dr. Arnn's devotion to Greco-Roman republican ideals. His pragmatic choice did not sacrifice his integrity. Hillsdale College pursues truth through varied collegial voices, not the homogeneous Trump devotion of which we have been accused.

We have a Conservative Supreme Court due to our current and Electorial College elected president. Have we become a nation of citizens who only recognize our leaders and country when we choose?

Enduring truths by definition will still endure. The question is whether succeeding generations will know, understand, and apply them. Thank you, Dr. Arnn and Hillsdale College, for seeing to that.
