I have known Ross for many, many years. In the past years, he has increasingly become an agitator, contrarian and provocateur. Though he was the best man at my wedding, I no longer have ties to him personally. He actively engages in perpetuating conspiracy theories related to race, sexuality and anti-science rhetoric. He does not belong in the CO OP community. I STRONGLY agree that If you cannot engage in a a reasonable conversation and convince him to denounce his current ideologies - the only reasonable course is to cease any kind of relationship with him with regards to the coop. This must not be allowed to continue.

However, the Near South community also serves as a neighborhood for many BIPOC. if Open Harvest wants to continue being the safe place for Near South it is, then OH needs to respect where they are, in community and in history.
