Recently the administration at Champaign Central HS has closed off the doors on the corners of University and New St. as well as University and Lynn St. These doors are the closest to the spots where students are able to park and especially with University St. being more crowded than ever, these doors are necessary for students to be able to get to class in a more direct way. Please join me and other students by signing this petition to get our doors back.

We want our doors back and it’s not gonna work for us to keep walking and walking every single day.
This needs to be done. My first hour class is right above these doors, but it takes me an extra 4 minutes to walk down to the main doors. Would help the hundreds of students who park west of the school
Not having these doors is a hassle dropping off and picking up as well as getting into the school in general.
There’s no reason for these doors to be kept locked. Walking outside in the rain and cold sucks and I’ve been tardy multiple times bc I’ve had to walk around the school
These doors are the closest to the parking spots most students use. I have been late to class twice because of this. The longer walk outside is unnecessary.

I used this entrance occasionally, when I have a yearbook inquiry w/ the yearbook staff, the Maroon.
