The well being of the residents of Champaign County, Illinois, should be of primary concern for the members of the County Board. Well being extends far beyond health and wellness to comfort and happiness. Continuation of Sheltering at Home might reduce the number of cases of Covid 19 but it will not stop it. Continuation of Sheltering at Home is depriving residents of the pursuit of happiness. Once in a lifetime moments like graduation are lost forever. Some businesses that have closed will not be reopening which will have continued impact on the financial wellness of the county. Hundreds of residents are now without employment. It's time for this to stop and open the County and eliminate the Shelter at Home requirement for Champaign County Illinois. Lockdown is unconstitutional. And statisical data on the number of COVID cases has been shown unreliable and does not merit destroying the economy.
