Open an Alternate Road for Kagman

Support road safety Support Kagman community

This is very important. Kagman still feels like a separate world from the rest of the island, which is especially worse for disaster response as this typhoon had shown. One access point into kagman bottlenecked disaster recovery and left many with family not in kagman to worry for days about their family who were when they couldn't connect or drive out to check on them.

My husband works at kagman and I worry about him and everybody else that uses that road. Saipan can do better for its people in this regard.

For the safety of the community please build an alternative road

It's more logical to have an alternative route.

Yes we need alternative routes

We fully support this petition, as Kagman urgently needs an additional access route into the village. The recent damage caused by the typhoon, which cracked part of the road and created a sinkhole, is a serious reminder of how vulnerable the current route can be. Many families, including our own relatives, live in the area with underlying health conditions, and we worry about how emergencies would be handled if the damage worsens or the road becomes unsafe in the future. We respectfully ask our leaders to consider the safety and wellbeing of the community, especially the children, elderly residents, and those with medical needs who rely on safe and dependable access every day. An additional route would not only improve safety and emergency response, but also provide peace of mind and long term security for the people of Kagman.

As an escape route if the main road collapses again

Its very important that we change the road cuz it’s dangerous the road we’re using right now. Please find another way so we can have a saver road for everyone. God bless us all.
