I just received the news that Primark is officially coming to the Grosvenor Centre. I honestly never imagined this would happen but you all proved that our town is worth investing in. This belongs to every single one of you who joined in.

In Macclesfield shops are closing down before our eyes it is becoming a ghost town and everyone is always in need of cheap useful clothing, the shops we do have our expensive, especially if you are in need of a brand new wardrobe due to weight loss etc. all ages would benefit from a primark in Macclesfield! Also this would create a lot more jobs and attract a variety of people from different different areas and it may just make this ghost town become popular again.

I started this because I was frustrated with our high street but I never imagined one hundred people would feel the same way. It is entirely thanks to your willingness to sign that we have reached this point so quickly.

People say we'll be a clone town if we accept the chains... The truth of the matter is that without a lure for the masses such as shops like Primark people will continue to shop elsewhere. The Treacle Market as successful as it is is not enough to keep this town afloat!
Primark would be great for the town, at the moment there are no shops for children's clothes or accessories - I regularly travel out of town to visit a primark store!
Would love this, I'm from congleton and I'm always going Hanley nearly every week just for primark as my children always need clothing, having one in Macclesfield would be fantastic.
Macclesfield really need a primark, it needs a good value clothes shop to bring done trade back into the town centre as it full of pound shops and charity shop
Deffo needs a Primark nowhere to buy clothes really and it is affordable for those who can't work or are looking for work and more job opportunities for people in the town and young people :)
I would love Primark to open in macclesfied, there is an empty marks and spencers ,that would benefit the customers. Please consider it. Thankyou.
