exactly as what is said in the letter and I would re-emphasize educating the public perception on physician earnings after logistical expenses and taxes and work hours relate work hours salary that way to other employees and some of us aren't as wealthy as others think

We all want to provide the best care for our patients, but it is increasingly disheartening and demoralizing to work in a profession where our contributions to the health of Canadians are not valued by the government, and where we are portrayed in the media as being greedy and self-serving. I hope the OMA will continue to pursue effective ways to enlist the support of Ontarians, and to effectively negotiate with the government on our behalf.

I would encourage the or may not to cooperate on any government initiatives, I would encourage doctors in general to avoid cooperation with the government in the implementation of their health care policies.

Cuts, clawback and limiting family physicians from joining enrollment models is short-sighted and unjust. I am a family physician proud of the work that my colleagues and I do- preventing acute diseases, managing chronic diseases, helping to keep patients out of the hospital and Long term care facilities. We need to stand up for Ontario's doctors.

we need better representation. We can't afford to continue as is, I'm taking NOTHING home. Employees not getting raises. We need benefits. We need improved lifestyles. You need to do more!! This is intolerable.

As a new grad who just moved back to Ontario, the prospect of claw backs are frightening and the current situation is forcing me to rethink my decision to return to the province.

I would argue that limited access to care is the only way the public will listen & engage. No elective surgeries, no new referrals, no new patients, after hours coverage nothing more than what is required by contract (eg FHO), etc. These types of actions serve to help ensure we don't go over hard cap & therefore are in line with government wish to reduce healthcare spending.
