Wonder if the minister and premier works for free? If it is not okay for them...why is it okay for us.

Most bizarre thing ever that we should be responsible for increased utilization
Teachers too should cover costs of increased enrollments

As a collective we truly require much stronger action to condemn this governments unilateral actions, utter contempt and disrespect for our profession.

hopefully we can come to an agreement with the ministry. If not, Ontario or Canada is not the only place where I can practice. I hope the ministry understands this.

How will further cuts to an already strained system help to meet the exponentially growing demands for cancer care with an aging population?

The unilateral, Draconian action will put the province at least two decades behind in primary care. I remember the 80's.

Some action needs to take place now....not in 6 months from now, not after we spend endless hours trying to politely garner public support that will not come. NOW. We finally have physician engagement. Physicians want action. The OMA needs to step up and be effective or be dismantled.

Remember the MRC era? The OMA is useless.
