I think Ontario MTO should seriously look this over, whats better some useless front mounted plates or millions of dollars that could be potentially used to fix roads, or help the general population

I think the front plates are useless. I have land in ONtario and I try to spend all of my summers there as much as I can. So I am a resident of both West Vancouver BC and Golden Lake, Ontario.

I support the petition to follow the other provinces & US states into requiring only one license plate. Please look into this matter and seek why the other regions decided this isn’t necessary. I for one would like to not have to have it obstructing the front bumper of my Chevette; a car like many that has no factory designed place to mount it.

On some of the foreign vehicles, the plates can bend and cut your legs.

Lets do this it's not fair that other provinces have 1 plate and ontario needs 2 plates lets save some money
Use the money saved towards speeding up road repair in major city's

I have a nice old car. And a front plate looks like crap, loved saskatchewan for this ,but now the cars in ontario and I gotta safety it for the first time and put that ugly blue plate on a green car, give us a break and save some money to

I grew up in Montreal and moved to Toronto in 2008. Front plates are totally useless. A total waste of money to produce, just like the penny.
