There has been no research on the nutritional content of male “lactation” product; the impact of lactation-inducing medication on babies, or the psychological impulse for trans-identified men to attempt lactation. Babies are our most vulnerable citizens and should not be subject to experimentation on the basis of an ideological position or social fad. Harm to babies in their first years of life will impact them until the end of their life. Affirming a trans-identity is not sufficient cause for potentially harming babies; impacting the vital mother-child bond, or diverting resources away from mothers and babies. Where a thing is not necessary, not understood and only pursued for the sake of social validation, it should not be supported.

Breastfeeding women encouraged to cease alcohol/drugs to be wary of medicines, even allergy inducers as there are known long term impacts on the child. Yet you are advocating for men to take drugs and hormones to induce an artificial milk that will then be given to babies?! This is pseudoscience that does not have sufficient data to determine if there will be significant harm to newborns. I suspect there will, given what we already know! Stop it now!
