On October 1st 2020, the Government of Quebec announced that all COMMERCIAL gyms had to shut down until October 28 2020.
Closings were then renewed on October 26th 2020 until November 23, 2020.
On October 7th 2020 at 16:20, Immoplex sent a letter to all O’Nessy co-owners claiming that:
“ (…) the training rooms must once again close as part of the protective measures in force in the red zones”. Note the use of the term “must”. THIS IS FALSE.
Training rooms/pools in co-ownership immovable properties in Quebec are NOT OBLIGED to close. The closing decree applies to commercial gyms.

Immoplex purposely misinformed O’Nessy co-owners. Our pool and spa is legally allowed to be open.
We request the gym and spa be re-opened immediately under the same conditions under which they operated from June 22 to October 8 2020.

Immoplex keeps hiding behind these fake rules to keep our facilities locked up. They are lying to every co-owner and banking on the fact that we will just stay quiet. We are not going anywhere until they open our pool and gym.

OPEN THE GYM NOW. My mental health is suffering without the pool access.
This is ridiculous. The decree is clear and Immoplex is just making up their own rules to save money on cleaning costs.
Totally unfair. They just want to avoid work.
This looks like lazy management to avoid liabilities and maintenance fees. It is inconsiderate and upsetting.
Proprietaire unit 402. We want our amenity back.
