I have lived in the south bay for 13 years and feel that the 900 club should have the same right as other bars in our area. It is very special to my family and friends and they should be held to the same standard as other establishments. There is no reason for such a restriction on one establishment if others are not held to the same standard. It is simply unfair and has to be changed to reflect the same standards as other establishments in downtown Manhattan.
As a small business owner myself, I find this type of rules to be against what this country is about and that is fair competition and entrepreneurship. This is not about the 900 club but fair play for all businesses.

Would love to see 900 club employees be able to benefit from an extra hour on what is typically a busy night for other Manhattan Beach bars

I've lived in Manhattan beach for 20 years, been going to 900 club for 10. One more hour is more than fair.

I have been a home owner in MB for 30 years. This is fair and level for the 900 club which has been a
distinguished establishment with many local citizens for 20 years. Thank you.

I was born and raised in the South Bay and see 900 Club as a strong community attribute. It's only fair to allow them the same hours as other restaurants and bars nearby. In turn, this assists the income of the employees who contribute into the economy of Manhattan beach.

Working Thursdays for three years, closing an hour earlier than other bars has had a negative impact on our business, members, and employees. We deserve to be open as late as our competitors. I support myself and am born and raised in the South Bay. We should be given a level playing field. Thank you.

I have been an employee at 900 for over 10 years. I work on Thursday nights and would love the opportunity to stay open and earn money for one more hour— like the other business do. Thank you.

I support 900 Manhattan and all that it does for the community. It promotes a comfortable venue for business woman and men (I have closed several transactions there) and graciously opens up its doors to charitable organizations. Very few similar food and drink establishments are comparable and 900 has been doing it for over 20 years. Not only should the Council promote equality in business, but recognize the value this organization brings to the City by leveling the playing field.

The 900 Club has been in business for over 20 years and is a main stay in this small community.
We have been residences in the south bay for over 20 years and a part of the 900 club for over 10 years.
Asking for an additional hour on Thursdays is not burdensome or overreaching on the City or surrounding businesses.
Furthermore, it would be making the 900 Club consistent with what other restaurants and bars have and should be approved.

Been a member for 9 years... The 900 Club is Manhattan Beach's primary social club for the local community where we spend time with friends, family, and business colleagues. For a number of us with extended work hours, our evenings don't start till 10:00pm. A little extra time in the later part of the evening would be greatly appreciated.

I fully support the one hour extension. I have been a member of the 900 club for 6 years, and lived in the South Bay for 10. Equality amongst similar businesses that contribute to the community should be considered.
