The One Dutchess Avenue project is needed and welcomed by the residents of the Town of Poughkeepsie, the City of Poughkeepsie and the Poughkeepsie City School District. Understanding the project as I do, I feel strongly that the applicant, O’Neill Group/Dutton LLC, and you, the City of Poughkeepsie Common Council, have given us a thorough overview and understanding of the project and the impacts that it will have on our city, town, school, environment and waterfront. I support the One Dutchess Avenue project as proposed in the FEIS, and I look forward to having One Dutchess Avenue as a good neighbor, and long-term friend to the residents of the City and Town of Poughkeepsie and the Poughkeepsie City School District.
