As members of the Cherokee tribe and longtime Union family, we do not find the Redskin mascot to be offensive. Please consider keeping it.

It’s time to grow up, put common sense back in the equation and realize that team names are not biased or racial or politically motivated. They’re at best for groups of young people learning what working together for a united goal is about and at their worst for spoiled millionaires seeking a bully pulpit for their own personal agendas.
Leave the mascot alone!

Class of 91 Alumni still living in the Union district with two children that have graduated from Union, one in 2016 and the other 2020 and a third child currently in 7th grade at Union. Still proud to be a Redskin!
