The time is now to publicly declare that you want a State and a Country that offers everyone the opportunity for the personal security that you, as a straight couple, as a family, have in marriage. Let your leaders know that you stand behind this statement: "Neither our marriage, nor the institution of marriage, are threatened by same-sex couples' opportunity for fulfillment and security. We want them to be able to experience the kind of fullness and wholeness that can be experienced through the public institution of marriage, should they wish. We believe that we will all be better off when our fellow citizens in same-sex relationships share the opportunity for this form of fulfillment and security."
