Wow, kids should not have bad quality courts. They should be able to have a fair chance to win compared to other schools.

Tens year ago this spring was my final season as head girls tennis coach at NKHS. I know the fairgrounds court very well. They are in shameful condition and a place we least liked to compete. Cracks, sagging nets, lewd graffiti, worn surface and faded boundary lines. The Fairgrounds tennis courts are used by two high schools, community league play and players in the Silverdale area, but their condition does not speak well for Silverdale and/or Kitsap County. Please give funding to repair this much needed facility.

Please fix these courts. They are not safe for our players.

These courts have great potential. They need regular maintenance and someone to take ownership. I makes sense to cooperate with the school district to create a quality tennis venue in Central Kitsap.

Upgrading the courts will not only benefit the school but also the whole community, should have been fixed up a long time ago

We've been needing new courts for a while. They have mold or some slippery substance growing on the courts. The courts are also cracked with random bumps. There's poor drainage, so heavy rainfall remains on the courts for at least a day or two.

These are potentially dangerous with cracks and rises in the court

Come on county, we're better than that. Sure we can scrap some unnecessary project and pay to have some good recreation for our kids.

Our schools in the state of WA I feel are not supported by the state legislature. This saddens me.

When I bring the NK tennis team to the fairgrounds in the fall I am always a bit concerned about the courts that are situated under the grove of trees that backs up to the courts. There is very little sunlight on that area and it becomes quite slick and dangerous. it is too bad, because it is a very nice venue.
