As you know by now Our lady of The Rosary in Greenhills is looking to change the date of the annual Octoberfest from the month of September to July 30 - Aug 1, 2010.
Many people feel that changing the date is not the answer to increasing the profitability of the festival. Actually, many people think it will hurt the festival and negatively affect the Greenhills community.
How do you feel?
Do you feel the festival should remain in September where it has been for many years?
If so, please sign the petition below. A copy of this petition will be sent to to festival committee at the church.
The volume of support has now reached a level that the festival committee cannot ignore. I am finalizing the formal letter to accompany these signatures for their upcoming meeting. Expect a summary of their official response once I deliver these documents later this week.

The festival is an October tradition. It isnt the same in the middle of summer when everyone is on vacation anyway. Keep it where it belongs.

Changing the dates is a huge mistake. Leave it in September like it always has been.
