On December 17, 2010, Superintendent Dr. M. Riordan informed Principal Patrick Keeley, Athletic Director Will Dwyer, and the five Academic Division Chairs Amy Zickuhr, Catherine Morrin, David Johnson, Phillip McGee, and Greg Meyer that their contracts will not be renewed at the end of the 2010-2011 school year due to not meeting the state criteria for yearly progress of the federal “No Child Left Behind Act”. We, the Parents and Voters of District #229 feel that Superintendent Riordan and the O.L.C.H.S. School Boards actions are unwarranted and unfair.
We, the undersigned, as concerned parents and voters of District #229, urge our School Board to act now to renew the contracts for Principal Patrick Keeley, Athletic Director Will Dwyer, and the six Academic Division Chairs Amy Zickuhr, Catherine Morrin, David Johnson, Phillip McGee, and Greg Meyer. That the Elected School Board for District #229 reconsider and find an alternative plan to improve PSAE scores and the affected budget.

This is absolutely crazy. Keeley and the others have done so much for this school and the students love them. We need to keep our good leaders instead of just firing people to fix a test score.

Ridiculous decision. Riordan has no clue what's actually happening in the building. Keep these people employed!
