People doing further maths literally had two days between their last external exam and both chemistry and physics internal exams.

Oh you wanted A's for all those internal exams? You gave us like a week to revise two entire subject courses. Onac, go ram that up yer arse cuz you ain't finding it anywhere else.

Giving us a week to revise for at least 2 subjects (4 exams) and expecting amazing results... this is extremely harsh. What did Onac think would happen?

Too strict people can work harder over the summer learning from mistakes redoing a year won't make a difference if it's learning something completely new

I hope everyone at Olaves did themselves proud this year even if the school doesn't acknowledge their own personal achievements. A levels aren't easy this year and not everyone will have the same goals. Good luck to everyone fighting for an equal playing field within the school, I hope you get successfully open their eyes ^-^

Completely unfair analysis on whether the student is capable of studying in Year 13 for their chosen subjects.

As an ex-year 11 Onac decided was not good enough for the "school", the damage this does is in fact lasting. Students should not be treated as grades on spreadsheets. They are people with dreams and ambitions, who should not be cast aside when they out live their usefulness.

I know some really nice people at Olaves that I know devoted so much time to their studies and worked very hard to get there. It'd be a shame to see them go in such an unfair way

Absolutely appalling. Upon surviving their gcses and achieving the ever increasing grade boundaries, the students have to fight once more to retain their place at the school. This results driven behaviour has led to massive decreases in the social and non academic side to the school as well as a massive increase in mental health issues which won't be stopped by ticking a few boxes and having a few mindfulness classes. The glaring inconsistencies in the internal exams mean an unfair playing field has emerged.
School is for the pupils,
not the headmaster's ego.
