I choose to have my taxes go to support "public" schools and education, not so someone can send their children to charter or private schools on my dime. Fix the public education system in Oklahoma first.

Public school funding should be kept in the public school systen. Private schools should be able to sustain themselves, hence the private. Until private schools want to play by the same rules as public schools have to they should stay out of public school money. If parents want their kids to attend private schools the parents should be willing to pay the tuition or the private school can offer a scholarship or voucher out of their funding for students who can't pay. The money shouldn't come from the public school funding.

We need to keep public money in public schools. Parents already have choice as Oklahoma allows for open transfers to any district or school. I do not want my tax dollars going to any private school or for homeschooling.
