Our Women and Native people need this initiative. Any and all help we can get is welcome. I look forward to the day we no longer use these petitions to gain leverage on such tragedy.

On July 21, 2017 the man that I was with tried to kill me. Every day I think about how he would tell me that he could kill me and no one would ever find my body because of all the land that he owns around Caddo County in SW Oklahoma. Every day I live with the fact that I could have been a Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman here in Oklahoma. Thankfully by the grace of God I was able to fight him off and get away from him. He is now in prison serving time for what he did to me but he will be getting out on December 1, 2020 and that is a day I am not looking forward to. May God bless all MMIW and all those left behind.

Please pass this legislation for the safety of my life and my daughter's. For far too long our people have been targeted and disregarded. We are the first occupants of these lands, yet we are direspected. It's time we matter. Thank you.

I support this legislation wholeheartedly. One of my daughters lost her life to a man who got away without being prosecuted thirteen years ago. Her death occurred on reservation land.

I support the Red Alert .... We have lost to many red people already! We must stand up and help stop the horrific acts of abduction!
