Petition for a vote of no confidence in the Governing Body of Okeford Fitzpaine Primary School

We the undersigned, wish to propose a vote of no confidence in the Governing Body o excellent teaching staff Okeford Fitzpaine Primary School. We are in full support of the teaching body and wish to see the school thriving, yet feel our voices are repeatedly ignored.

We currently feel, that due to the reasons listed below, efforts to achieve the above, are being continuously hampered:

-Forced resignations of teaching staff (accompanied by false terms of employment) and forcing excellent teaching staff to reapply for their own roles.

-Inadequate hiring of inexperienced teaching staff (an example of which would be a newly trained NQT who did not cope well with teaching a class of three years).

-Mishandling of staffing, creating continued disruption to the pupil body (various changes to appointments).

-Delivering false news as to the reasons staff have departed (“family reasons” being the main reason delivered to parents).

-Lack of engagement with the parent body-providing little or no feedback of what is happening behind the scenes.

-Not dealing adequately with parents complaints and concerns (no feedback or resolution provided).

-Not supporting staff members to perform to the best of their abilities.
