I am a playschool mom. I would like a detailed analysis of why the fees have been increased by such a high percentage. are we to expect this phenomenon every year?

Request you to justify this steep fee hike. A 10-12% fee hike in a couple of years is doable for the parents. But if one has two or more kids studying here, with a 35% fee hike, it will be a sad situation!!

I'm an early year parent. I have 1 child in playschool and 1 in Jr.Kg. The fee hike is too steep, especially for the kids moving from playschool to nursery.
too much increment in the fees.it should be every three years

As a new parent of grade 1 and grade 6 I completely agree that the new fee increase should be justified and necessary. School should come up with a solution which helps both school and children. Also such a big increase is not required.

We were told that fees hike will be only once in 3 years but this is 2nd consecutive year for fees hike. Please do something about it as it is too much pressure on parents..

We are new parents. Whilst taking admission to Grade 1 and Grade 6 we know that there was an increase on fees last year. We had discussed this during our discussions with school. We were told that they do not foresee an increase in fees for the next few years at least unless absolutely necessary... Hope to find a solution which makes sense to both school and parents!

Need to look for a win-win solution. This borders on taking unfair advantage of existing students given that options to change are limited. The hike is too steep and not in line with normal inflation. The school also needs to think through with Parents on options to optimize spending to reduce overall budget burden.

UNfair to take this unilateral hike year on year ...The quality and infrastructure needs to be commensurate with the charges. It is a bit steep and uncalled for

Keeping in account inflation, currency fluctuations etc a nominal fee hike of 4-5% each year is justified, 10% hike is nor practical nor feasible.

Increase the recurring annual fee for all existing students by INR 20,000/year. The school can change its fee structure & policy for new incoming students to accommodate any budget shortfalls this policy creates.

Let's take the example of junior kindergarten fees they have almost doubled in the last three years, nothing neither inflation nor increase in infrastructure, facilities etc can justify such a hike and there seems to be no limit in sight, as our children go into higher classes if the fees keep rising at this rate how do we justify/afford it?
I agree
