Coach Gary was instrumental in guiding my son to find his passion in jumping for OHS. He has and still is a big part of helping him to succeed, get stronger and improve to be the best.
Coah Gary took the time to film our kids and commentate in the videos to let them see where they need help and when they are doing well. This greatly helped my son to visually see himself and what he needed to improve.
I know that with Coach Gary, my son has improved from the time he started to the end of the season and he has continued since then as well.

My brother is on the track team. Coach Gary has been nothing but supportive and the idea of him being fired over unsubstantiated claims is preposterous. He has consistently been the pillar of the team, leading them to CIF finals last year. I hope this decision is reversed, otherwise the OHS track team will surely suffer.

I was never directly under Coach Gary's care but I understand that he is important to the team. I have received his encouragement despite being in the distance group rather than sprints and I can still say that it encouraged me greatly.

Coach Gary is an excellent coach that truly cares for the well being of his team and I think he should continue to be out coach so he can help bring out the potential in people and send some of our students to CIF again !

My daughter did not have the opportunity to run for Coach Gary. However, following Coach Gary and OHS, looking from the outside in. I had the opportunity to watch his Track Team, the speed, technique and discipline. What Parent would not want that for their child. I chose to transfer my daughter where she would have an opportunity to run for this Coach amoung other great access of OHS. I had the opportunity to speak with him about my daughter running for OHS. He took the time to speak with me, when he could have brushed me off. He took the time to show interest. I heard many students brag about Coach Gary and never heard any thing bad about him. The only thing I ever heard if you want your child to succeed in Track & Field try and get them to run for Coach Gary. But if you do, put your child on the team, you have to listen and be respectful because he want to help your child succeed. Those were words that was said to me from children. Please work out what ever is needed to allow him to come back. As a parent, I feel letting him go will hurt the Team and it will show in their running. Please reconsider for the Team/children.
