We the undersigned offshore workers call on the unions involved with the -

·        Offshore Contractors Association agreement (OCA);

·        United Kingdom Drilling Contractors Agreement (UKDCA);

·        United Kingdom Floating Production Operators Agreement (UKFPOA)

to withdraw from these agreements immediately and to enter into talks with all of the offshore unions to establish a united union front to challenge the employers. For too long the unions have failed us by working against each other. The employers have used this as a divide and conquer tactic. It’s time the unions changed their ways and listened to the people they claim they are representing! Listen to US!

We want to see an all union negotiating body dealing with the employers involved with these agreements. We want the unions to work together for our benefit, not for their own benefit or for the employers benefit. We call on the three main unions to support us –

UNITE

GMB

RMT

When the unions come together the workforce will come together, and TOGETHER we can improve things for all offshore workers, like –

·        2-on 3-off for all

·        standard rates - no more ad hoc rate and core rate differences

·        pensions for all

·        sick pay for all

·        travel/accommodation for all

·        medical retirement for all

·        realistic redundancy packages for all

·        equal opportunities for all

If the unions want our support – they must support US the undersigned
