Absolutely ridiculous. There is no reason to take a game off Steam just because of stupid comments made by one person. Valve only adds to the drama by doing this.

So someone naggingly dissed their design choices and the game, and Mike responded by saying the person's opinion was "fucking idiotic"? Seems reasonable to me.

While jocular death threats are undesirable, and a perma-ban from Steam is understandable, I think that it is a disproportionate response.

I have not played the game, although I did look at it a few times and consider buying it, even during the sale. I would like to say that I believe they should be given a second chance and the other team members should not be penalized for the actions of one, it was because of Mike's actions that Steam took action, with him now gone it would be good for someone at Steam to reconsider. I would like to throw my name in on the petition as a semi-big buyer of games (Azurelinctus)

only one person was the cause of this for his mistake, but the rest of the guys working in this project dont have any responsability, steam forgive the rest of codice avarice.

This game is magnificent, while the team behind it may be jerks the idea doesn't have to suffer for their actions.

If they apologized nad the person who made the threat is no lnger affiliated they deserve a seocnd chance.

I love this game. I first saw it on the Greenlight from Steam and I fell in love with it. But when I saw the internet war between Mike and the fans, I tried to ignore it. But then, the game got removed from Steam, and I was so confused and sad and angry, so I decided to look up why this happened. Mike's actions were unforgivable, even if he was being "sarcastic", but that doesn't affect the game in any way. I just want this game back on Steam so others can enjoy it, and while my opinion isn't master, neither is yours or hers or his. We're all entitled to our own opinions, you have yours, and I have mine, and I hope we both can respect each others opinion. So if you think you might like this game, look up the pros and cons, and try to give Code Avarice another chance, because they're steering through a bumpy road, and if they play their cards right, they could redeem themselves.

The actual threat was Mike's, now that Mike has bolted, I think his wrongdoing shouldn't affect Code Avarice as it is now.

Definitely needs to be on steam. I was sad upon hearing that it was removed and especially as it's just down to one guy being massively unprofessional. I know that if steam and Gabe can find it in their hearts to forgive it's in the interest of gamers everywhere.
