We were moving to Bankso for the season and now we can't even ski all season. We will try to leave.

Very disappointing move by Ulen. Seems they want to kill off competition from other local ski instruction companies. How can an independent instructor make any money having to pay so much (€2300) for a seasonal pass (i.e 3* 40 days pass)? Obviously the cost is nothing for their instructors as Ulen pay the money back to themselves! Then there is just taking the mick out of the locals and seasonal workers! My daughters are keen to come out and stay in our apartment for a season and find some work (e.g. bar work) as they love to ski but in reality they are better off going for a season to the ‘Three Valleys’ (€1190) or ‘Val D’Isere’ (€1120 for Espace Killy) where the skiing options are far more extensive and now a lot less expensive! (amazingly!). Anti competitive, anti locals, anti independent seasonal workers – very greedy and small minded... :-(

Ulen are the worst resort management company I have ever come across! UselessUlen, is more apt. They are belligerent & arrogant in the way they have no regard for Bansko, try finding an email address to contact them! I got an email address from their office on my last visit, emails sent, no reply received! UselessUlen don't care 1%, about their customers. The season pass is a way for them to out price the competition. I thought EU membership & rules were to stop this kind of corruption?
It would be bearable if UselessUlen actually maintained the Pistes & lifts, but they are Useless at that & everything else they do, why are they still in situ? I've never heard/seen a good word about them!

terrible decison ruined the mountain for the seasonaires i was planning on a full season pass now not going to happen at 4500 levs now the most exspensive resort in europe!

Actually bought 2 x season passes, one for Sons teenage girlfriend also. 1400 USD saving (2 x 700 USD each) on lift pass costs, USA 6 resorts vs Bansko. I have 2 explanations for Ulens behavior, either they are totally incompetant or they are bottom slicing to maintain highest paying customers and reduce numbers on the mountain.

Last year I bought my teanage son a season pass for bansko. Cost 835 Lev (584 USD) this year a 40 day pass for bansko for a teanager costs 1400 lev (963 USD). I rather bought him a season pass for Park City Utah which at 210 USD including free use of 5 other resorts in the USA makes a whole lot of sense. What is Ulen thinking ???
