Game looks great and right up my alley! I’m pretty straight foraward though, and I would just want to buy the game out right. I reallly just prefer physical games

I agree, but there is another thing in play: If we offer a 50 USD physical, and only get 700 of them in the KS, we made negative money on the KS, and go into debt as a result, meaning it would have been far better never to have had the KS. We have to be very careful about that, since it has ruined many other studios!
